Valley of Rocks
A fascinating U-shaped valley that is parallel to the sea. Well known for it’s wild goats and jagged cliff edges, it is thought that during the Ice Age, ice sheet prevented the East Lyn River from reaching the sea and on clearing, the river was unable to resume its original path – leaving the valley riverless. It is well known for its unusual rock formations and an abundance of caves.
